My eyes
Are nothing
It’s only their perception that really matters
And it’s only my mind
That draws these conclusions
Choosing what to really
Detect and detest
And it’s only again that subtle psychotic reasoning
That knows the dark black spots
From vessels which long ago
Fell from the corner
Of this coherent desk
Complemented
I pretend
If only for a while
That I gain truth through my friends
But happily
They seek the sultry edges of my pain
Realising this
Or maybe
I just presume
I still stumble
Never gaining anything
Hitting the ground
I choke on its infested plume.
