I Loved You
Oh, Do not worry you didn’t break me…
No... Baby you broke my heart, completely destroyed me
I remember how we used to be…
You held me tight in your arms, it felt sublime
My head laid on your chest I felt your breath on my soft pale skin
Hairs at the nape of neck stand
The beating of your heart whispered in my ear, took away my fear
My fingers traced the lines of your face
Making a map to keep etched in my brain
I stop and pause at your lips, you muttered “I Love You”
And my cup runneth over.
I look in your beautiful bright blue eyes
And they put the cities light to shame
I loved you madly, trying to explain why,is like explaing
How water tastes completely impossible
When I told you “ I Love You” it’s not said
Out of habit or to make conversation, I said it to remind myself
That you’re the best thing that ever happened to me
You will always lose by holding back
I fell in love with a million tiny things you never knew you were doing
Love and Hate such a thin line between the two
Every song I hear
Every movie I see
Every fairytale I read…
Reminds me of you
This love we had was divine I will forever love you until my last breath
For all eternity
I gave my all to you but it did not seem to be enough for you
So now I’m alone with my beating heart I dwell all by myself in this
House of pain
