Mysterious Sir...

Every night a lonesome man
Comes to visit me
Claims he wants only company
And to fight off my bad dreams

Three knocks on my window
I slide it open with care
The moonlight glares against his onyx eyes
And his faded blonde hair

A wicked grin reaveals razor teeth
But his smile seems so pure
Innocence laced with dark secrets
Can I trust him? I'm not sure

He speaks in hushed whispers
As if we have to hide
Like a moth to flame, to him I'm drawn
I politely invite him inside

Cautiously stroking my trembling arms
He turns to look at me
His grip grows tight, his eyes turn dark
He is all I can see

A snarl forms upon his face
Making my blood run cold
His nails are digging into my flesh
The sweet stench of death is bold

For when he opens his mouth, I can't help but gag
Dead corpse scent invades the room
A deep growl rises in his throat
Confirming my certain doom

After he's had his taste of my flesh
And I'm left bleeding on the floor
His eyes turn bright and full of life
And he smiles as he goes through the door..
