Today we wear our poppies
For our soldiers
Fighting for our freedom
Our right to live in peace
And roam the lands
Today we wear our poppies
To remember them
Who gave their lives
To defend all of us
Today we wear our poppies
We are proud of them
We are sad too
We will not forget them
Today we wear or poppies
For the soldiers of the past
And sadly we will wear them
For the soldiers of the future
For our soldiers
