Mom's Broke
Verse I.
I'm really afraid
My mom's looking faded
This broken family is jaded
For awhile now no one's got paid
Going broke feels like raids
Everyone is gone but I wish they would of stayed
Chorus.
My mom's going broke
this really isn't a joke
We can't even afford a can of coke
My tears run down onto my shirt and it's soaked
Verse II.
I don't want to live on the streets
All these people are looking beat
Time has already picked her date
Reality has chosen my fate
I don't want to walk through a shelters gate
The government don't bring nothing but hate
To get a job is just to late
The world will judge and give a poor rate
My family needs a clean slate
I'm really afraid
My mom's looking faded
This broken family is jaded
For awhile now no one's got paid
Going broke feels like raids
Everyone is gone but I wish they would of stayed
Chorus.
My mom's going broke
this really isn't a joke
We can't even afford a can of coke
My tears run down onto my shirt and it's soaked
Verse II.
