Little Raven Bird
Little Raven bird
So high up in the trees
You know what you are
You know what you must be
Little Raven bird
Have you come for thee?
I know what you are
And that frightens me
Little Raven bird
With those blood red eyes
Give to me your message
Before you have to fly
Little Raven bird
It comes as no surprise
You're the symbol of death and silence
And it comes as no surprise
Little Raven bird
I'm smiling despite myself
The message that you give to me
Was meant for someone else
Little Raven bird
I'm not concerned about their health
They are all but dead to me
They bring to me no wealth
Little Raven bird
Gone from the tree
The next time that I need you
Won't you return to thee?
Won't you return to me?
So high up in the trees
You know what you are
You know what you must be
Little Raven bird
Have you come for thee?
I know what you are
And that frightens me
Little Raven bird
With those blood red eyes
Give to me your message
Before you have to fly
Little Raven bird
It comes as no surprise
You're the symbol of death and silence
And it comes as no surprise
Little Raven bird
I'm smiling despite myself
The message that you give to me
Was meant for someone else
Little Raven bird
I'm not concerned about their health
They are all but dead to me
They bring to me no wealth
Little Raven bird
Gone from the tree
The next time that I need you
Won't you return to thee?
Won't you return to me?
