I like your use of Freudian psychology, as well as the phrase "broken animal" and "ego jerked-off." A good evocation of narcissism.

ps Im bullshitting most of it I haven't read much freud.. it bored me.. a lot of those famous philosophers and psychologists were as arrogant and gaudy as any body builder or athlete with how they presented themselves to be.. better than everyone without a degree as big as there.. like little boys in the showers in gym class comparing cock size.. lol

haha Yes I'm not fond of Freud, either. Too distant and intellectual for me; he seemd to write simply to prove how clever he was. Reminds me of a quote by Charles Bukowski: "An intellectual says a simple thing in a hard way, whereas an artist says a hard thing in a simple way." Or something like that. The point is that I'd rather be an artist than a pompous academic.

That phrase 'broken animal' is the most tragic, hopeless description of human life. Put where it is in that last line, the effect it has is just crushing...it's like your whole heart sinks when you read that bit. It's perfect.

thank you so much.. originally I was thinking about it and the line read "broken dog" and then I thought more and wasn't sure if "broken animal" would work.. but according to you and jack it sure did.. cheers hun! :D

yeah Ggod pops his head out every here and there in my work.. used to be much more.. my delusions have simmered down some lately.. glad you dig it :D
