Mother

It happened on a clear day.
Somewhere in between the hazel skies.
My beloved mother couldn't take it anymore.
Not knowing I'm watching she wrapped the rope around her neck.
The rope was tighten tightly, her eyes, horrified eyes, gazing into mine.

I pushed her so softly, prayed she'd comeback to me.
They lied, they lied, they lied mother.
I held her hand feeling her body twitch, I smiled thinking she came back to me.
But that was only short-lived.

He grew so sour in the lonely nights.
He grew so sour turning into a monster.
In his eyes I couldn't see the the father who gave me a piggy backs under the blue skies, no.
Is this treatment what he's given just another common part of daily living?

My sweet mother, oh where did you go?
If you only knew the things he did to me when we were alone.
My despised father always made me his.
With the crude desires to feel your tender flesh he couldn't live without.
In our once perfect home.

So one cold night when the rain couldn't allow me to leave.
His gaze pierced into my innocence the reminiscence of his late lover.
"Daddy please don't do this..." it was hopelessness filling me.
The monster my mother once loved consumed me the same as her.

See, see, see...

The burning flares sparked deep in his eyes
"This isn't my father" it's something else.
They lied, they lied, they lied father.
He asked me if I could keep it a secret.
I told him I was good to keep a secret.
But I didn't know I'd regret it.

My sweet mother, oh where did you go?
To this very day I still pretend that it never happened to me...not me.
My despised father makes my skin tremble.
The agonizing screams and perverted positions still makes me cry.
My sweet mother, why...couldn't you protect me...
He told me it was okay.
I believed him...until it was too late...
