A promising light is in my dreams
The powerful glow is the moon above
What is that light, that beckons me
I am intrigued, what can it be?
A sign of hope for eternal love!
Through the darkness I have travelled
Many troubles they found me
Is this the promise I dreamt about
The light at the end of the tunnel
There to set me free

Nice poem there! The theme of the dark versus the light always is intriquing as it plays its tricks on us through life. Hope is always a them that inspires me. Thanks for sharing!

Perhaps the "glow" you refer to is merely afterglow?
