Yet also the predator when needs be greatest

Suffering in silence the humiliations

Offering anything, everything

Working for food

Her body if that’s what it takes

All for her brood

They call her a harlot, yet they don’t understand

They call her trash but they have been lucky

They have no right

Having never had to walk those paths

She is the stronger one

She has humility

She has a conscience

Even in the light of her adversity

Until karma bites back
