Isla De Las Muñecas (Island of the Dolls) near Mexico City - a real place.  A true story.. mostly.

no.. about man who lived as a hermit there for years.

He hung up all the dolls to appease girl's spirit.

The man hangs baby and pretty dolls,
Blank eyes, staring.

I liked the repetition, it scared me a little. What matched the point of this writing, so I label it successful :)

This location was featured on a tv show I watched called Destination Truth (a paranormal investigating show). As I was reading, I could visualize the episode, and the hanging dolls with "blank eyes, staring", which made your work that much more creepy. Great work.
