Song Of The Sixties
Step right up
and throw the dice
take a trip and
don't think twice
change the world-
you really can
stand right up
prove you're a man
Shout make love
and put down war
V i e t n a m
is out for sure
do it right-
burn your draft cards
shout the words
hell, we won't fight
Grow your hair
down to your knees
it doesn't matter
if you can't see
make love now
there in the park
it don't matter
if it ain't dark
take your time
and fade away
it's the thing
to g r o o v e today
and throw the dice
take a trip and
don't think twice
change the world-
you really can
stand right up
prove you're a man
Shout make love
and put down war
V i e t n a m
is out for sure
do it right-
burn your draft cards
shout the words
hell, we won't fight
Grow your hair
down to your knees
it doesn't matter
if you can't see
make love now
there in the park
it don't matter
if it ain't dark
take your time
and fade away
it's the thing
to g r o o v e today
