For it no longer belongs to me
It beats like all others
But only when you're near
Is it alive and free.
To hum in tune

Full of joy
Is what I truly want

How much you mean to me

Why are you "a fallen poet?" Your Bio. (if that's what it's called) says that. "Our hearts can beat as one." That's what we all want. Right? And you bring this out with clarity and aliveness. I can "feel" your emotion: happiness. Thank you for this gift. Well done poem.
