Memory ever so slowly fading.
Here I am starting to break.
Breaking down everyday.
Tears falling down to the floor.
I can't say I don't care anymore.
Having an urge just to slice.
But for once I just threw the knife.
Hearing it cut into the wall.
Wishing the wall was my heart.
Curled into a ball of pain.
Wanting everything to go away.
Just for once not to remember a thing.
Like this was all just a dream.
A dream of happiness and sorrow.
With promises of a better tomorrow.
Here I am starting to break.
Breaking down everyday.
Tears falling down to the floor.
I can't say I don't care anymore.
Laying here thinking of you.
Wishing it could be just us two.
Knowing that'll never come true
Trying to stop missing you.
Swallowed by the black night.
Searching for that gleaming light.
Slowly your face fades away.
As I begin a new day.
