Disposing of the Body
My fondness
for potatoes
has led me
down this road
I fear that if I
eat one more
my belly
might explode
But nourished
by the earth
where one day
I'll return
all will be
in order
if they feed me
to the worms
Cremation's
not an option
now the
ozone layer's thin
it's why I
always voted green
to spite
my next of kin
I never liked
the water
I prefer a
good settee
my toes would get
all wrinkled
if they buried
me at sea
But wait, there's
room in space
to tether corpses
by balloon
how I'd love to
watch my wake
while I'm sailing
past the moon
for potatoes
has led me
down this road
I fear that if I
eat one more
my belly
might explode
But nourished
by the earth
where one day
I'll return
all will be
in order
if they feed me
to the worms
Cremation's
not an option
now the
ozone layer's thin
it's why I
always voted green
to spite
my next of kin
I never liked
the water
I prefer a
good settee
my toes would get
all wrinkled
if they buried
me at sea
But wait, there's
room in space
to tether corpses
by balloon
how I'd love to
watch my wake
while I'm sailing
past the moon
