Could I Be?
The smoothness of his words
Float in my subconscious
Whispering endearments
Not giving me a choice
My heart beats to a tempo
Predetermined by the gods
Only he can scramble it
Causing a quickness with his laugh
With an accent so sexy
enticing a smile from my lips
He has no idea of this
For I hide behind distance
Can he hear the sadness in my voice
My heart bleeds for his loss
As he still struggles
Trying to mend his broken heart
The love of his life
No longer walking by his side
All he has now is memories
And photos in frames
He will remember her
Her laugh, the way that she lit up the room
The special loving moments
His one and only true love
He is a lost soul
Wandering australia alone
Searching for the one
To rekindle the fire within
Could I be her?

Wow...that's a change of pace to what I am use to reading from you. But as always a beautiful work of art even if it is a sadden tail. As beautiful as you are you shall or should never be alone. Kudos on the write dear.

Hi atropabelladonna,
You never know what you are going to get with me.. I have many sides... Some of which I don't show very often... I kinda lost my way there for a while - and after someone very special to me came into my life ... Inspiration has been rekindled... I have him to thank for the rejuvenation of "vixen"... Only after a lot of prompting, I might add..
It feels really good to be back.

It has been so long, I almost forgot the name of the site!! Just joking ;-)
I hope that he knows how much he really means to me... He is my inspiration at the moment... And it is my way to let him know how he is the one to make my heart beat a little faster...

It's been a looooong time vixen and you've come back stronger than ever, loved it, so very poignant and heartfelt, brought back memories of long ago, that tug at the heart strings of love lost! :-) Cheers
