My thoughts

You point to something that is a problem but you don't really explain what the issue is. This reads like a "surface" poem. You describe the top but say nothing about the deeper going ons.

To some extent this reminded me of Smokey Robinson  and the Miracles singing "Tears Of A Clown"

mm yea it's just more feeling overwhelmed with thoughts and ive never heard that before ill look it up..

Because it is so vague I feel timid in trying to help. Have a few thoughts but it may just be me trying to be like my parents. (both were social workers)

Explain a lil..

Okay I will try and hope this makes sense. You seem to paint a redundant picture. You talk about thoughts and emotions. Well what are they? You describe a cage---are they that dangerous? You don't have to explain it all but I need at least enough to connect the dots. What behavior has being overwhelmed lead you to?

I understand your poem thoroughly. I think the poet within us tends to over analyze everything. Your write explains much of how I feel at times. A good write, in my opinion.
