Steps
Look at you, perched above on your stoop,
Watching us, with looks of disgust you cast down
On every passer-by,as if those steps, those steps,
Some how made you above every one else, i agree,
Those steps are extravegent, with their marble finish.
Don't you know, many before have set on that same stoop,
Before you where even conceived, people went up and down
That stoop, some stopping, and having the same opinion,
Yet when they step foot off those lovely marble steps,
Their nothing but steps. And your no more than a man.
