sinking sleep
Theres this feeling, i get sometimes, at night.
I'm asleep and suddenly i awaken.. I try to move my body but nothing is happening. I've gone numb.. Its like theres a force greater than gravity itself keeping me bound to the sheets i lay tangled in. I think its a dream but dogs are barking outside, i hear them, and the sound of cars cruising down the highway.. Tick tock, tick tock.. Why cant i move...my body?
I begin to panic.. The harder i try to move the more i sink into the mattress... Something is pushing against my chest, my arms hurt.. I want to scream but my mouth wont open, .. Is this what the end feels like?
Shouldnt there be light? Before i suddenly black out....
When morning comes i tell myself it was a dream.. But there are bruises on my arms... As though i was being held down :c
