Cry Later

Wishes may delay
Troubles may stay
Weeping endures through the night
Joy comes by day
Dreams might never turn real
Depressed might be how you feel
Just fix your gaze on the light
While trying to open the seal

For in it is the expectations we desire
However we must fight to put it there
If destiny's what you make of it
Then why should we fear?
As for me I'll play and sing for joy
Even though I was born a poor boy
Inside you there's something desperately needed by the world
And you're not a failure till you stop showing  it off

And I've clinged to a belief
The belief to be me and no one else
The ability to see pleasure in the pain
The mindset to smile when I'm expected to frown
That way I must have conquered myself
External issues relatively less
Doing my best and leaving the rest
Laugh well now and probably cry later
If at the end, there be tears...
