Connection
Fate moves you away
Your faith is not my own
Fate has other plans for us
To make 'us' impossible
You are a sinner
Or so it seems
You like to be forgiven
But never seen
While searching for passion
You lounge around
Addicted to warmth and still
Heading in the wrong direction
You have to make efforts
To catch a glimpse
An obvious daydreamer
Amused, curious yet surprised
No patience on your mask
A care free memory
In your brew some plan
A roaming presence
It's all chemistry
You're a magnetic mystery
Action and reactions
To myself
Your faith is not my own
Fate has other plans for us
To make 'us' impossible
You are a sinner
Or so it seems
You like to be forgiven
But never seen
While searching for passion
You lounge around
Addicted to warmth and still
Heading in the wrong direction
You have to make efforts
To catch a glimpse
An obvious daydreamer
Amused, curious yet surprised
No patience on your mask
A care free memory
In your brew some plan
A roaming presence
It's all chemistry
You're a magnetic mystery
Action and reactions
To myself
