Imagine a smorgasbord
of all the poetry
you wanted,
and with it
any poet or poetess.
With each poem
that you read
the person
who wrote it
would act out the words
that he or she had written
and the poem
was written
with you
as the person
receiving the poem.
Who would you want
to get a poem from?
Better than a valentine
you could be my word divine
image, verse, and open line
split infinitive and spine
lip of mercy
caring tryst
and what then would
become of this?
Orgy of the poet's cross
soup of stanzas
fluid pinxit
name embossed
do you think we'd all get lost
if into this world we all were tossed
all the poets of our crew

Well, that would be fun; if all poems aimed at one were praises love and happiness. If its the other way round, one starts holding a butterfly net and running over a green meadow with nary a butterfly in sight...

Valentines are fun because the secret crushes come out of the closet.....I think that having the courage to actually write to each other fearlessly would be validating for some..I would love to write incredible poems to specific people here whom I admire deeply and would love to ravish poetically. It's way more than merely a sexual urge..I am totally in love with some writing and want to slaver their authors in adoring praise and thanks giving, even if my erotic flavor is the order of the day without it's being seen as stalking or out of line....we never know what we passed in life by having our present injunctions against certain social interactions....Grace.
