Death and Dying
What's the point of even trying?
Surrounded by strife,
Negativity, and hate.
No more madness
Can my life take
I'm like a time bomb
Tick, tick, ticking away
May not be tomorrow
May not be today
I look above and kneel to pray
God help me not to think this way
Please just let me survive one more day
Please don't let me just fade away...

Thank you...some days are harder than others. Today happens to be one of the most painful. I pray for sunshine, and happiness tommorow. ;)

yours is the first poem ive read today. strange because i wrote a poem not an hour ago that corilates well with your idea. i like how you kept it simple and stil conveyed a profound understanding of the struggles that make up life.

Thank you for your input, I have never been any kind of a writer at all, these are my first attempts at poetry...my life has been turned upside down recently, so I have something to put down on paper... ;). I enjoyed your poems very much, a little bit dark but, the pain of the reality was felt all the way to my bones.
