a bit of nonsense

Candlelight
Quill pens
A cockerell to crow
a lute in a garrett
The river below
Wisteria winds
Up the walls to where she
Has hair of pure gold
And ofcourse the gold key

For she is the princess
and fervently will
Dance in the moonlight
And together lay still
In a bed of white damask
Till the great hint of Dawn
Returns him to the garden
From where he was torn

Her prince of the forest
A wizard in green
Who knows every tree, every plant
there has been
Down every fox hole
Inside every cave
His pen of pure silver
Was what he now gave
To the princess whose eyes
were as bright as a deer
Whose invisible silence
the fairies could hear

Who walked through serenity
soaked in the dew
That fell from the sky
with the orbs that were blue
Candlelight
Quill Pens
A Cockerell to crow
A lute in the garrett
and the river below
