Success comes differently
at different costs
to different people

Some are tortured geniuses
They escape
through quantities of mind altering substances

They are never truly happy

Although incredibly brilliant

They batter demons in a war raged within
They usually lose in the end

For a moment
This path to excess
can open The Doors of Perception

Born is the art of the user

Dark and beautiful

Sadly exceptional

They flash through history’s sky, briefly

Leaving an impact through legend
