Always waiting,
I'm always
w
a
i
t
i

I'm never sure
If I'll make it
Every Breath
A chance,
Eclectic pauses
A didactic life
Of seemingly never-to-be plummets,
An abyss in wait
Teetering on the edge
Living a life of morbid expectation
Forever nervous
Casting glances inwards,
Trying to glean a better understanding of my
'Assumed' executioner
The product of an ever-present
Death Wish
Never sure of the day that'll be my last,
The judgment day
But so far,
I'm making it

let me just say right now, your voice is made for this. beautiful read with perfect expression, not even a little overdone; in fact, the poem is better for it. wouldn't have appreciated it on the page without that expression, i think. good call. [:

Thank you, that means alot but as far as voices go mine pales in comparison to the crystal clear sound you exude.
