Ghost

He was...
An apparition...that appeared because
of the state of my heart and emotional condition
I ....I've been in a vulnerable position
and because of it He....was pitchin....
Some serious Woo....

He had the heartbeat of my "hot seat" moving
to his rhythm...I was hung up on every type of schizm
there was...

As I continued to fall into something-like love
but covered in lust as my insides became molten....
It felt like my soul would burst....

As I became breathless over his words that burned through
me...and drew me....like a moth to the flame
singed the sense right out of me...till I couldn't
remember my name....

Yet...I could only whisper his....
in the heat of my nights as sweat claimed
my frame...
as I would twist and writhe
against my own passion for him...

I desired him near me so I could
worship at his alter and adore him....
He was my deep ocean...and in him
All I wanted to do ....was swim.

Yet...I have  spent too many a sleepless night
with this....echo... of him in my mind....
penetrating my being as my heat smolders...and grinds
through my skin....
As I hear whispers  of what .....could...have been.

I then ....think I feel him next to me...
running his fingers expertly ....over every inch of me
so succinctly...he enters me....

As I plunge my face into my pillow
weeping from this phantom pleasure
that now fades from my epicenter
as my thoughts begin to splinter...

I am thrown from the heat of summer....
Into winter....I realize... I am alone
He ... is not here there is no one to hold.

As memories of his words...still shimmer
with the fading light of broken promises...
