My Green Eyed Seductress

She came to me in the midnight hour. Like a ghost in the fog she appeared. Who is this green-eyed seductress, that lures my soul? So beautiful in all of her glory, floating above stale air. She whispered my name. Stuck in a trance I immediately came. Under a blood letting moon, we danced. In drunken ecstasy we danced. Who is this goddess that reaches within? I was completely captivated. Call it love, call it lust; it was at first sight. She was the drink that filled my cup, my grace that filled the void. It was there in that cemetery, in the morning dew that we came together. In that sweet moment I knew, that what we had would be forever.. It was then, that I felt the painful sting. Ice cold lips upon my neck. I was stuck in her grasp,  like a tightly woven cocoon. She began to drain, everything started to spin. Just when i thought it was the end, she released. To the ground I fell, slamming to the surface hard, and dizzy in my head. Weak and vulnerable, she lifted my head. To a blood dripping wrist she said, "Drink." As I began to drink, I felt a change, a hunger for desire. Everything flashed before my eyes, and then she was gone. Just like that, vanished. It was on that fatal night, that I knew nothing would ever be the same. There would never be any going back. Who was this creature? Who was this witch that laid upon me this curse? Left me here in a world so cold, dark, and full of despair. All that remains is a cold lifeless heart. Sleepless nights searching, to no appeal. Longing for one last touch, one last kiss, one last embrace. It is here in this place i come; every day at the midnight hour, in hopes to see. It is here in loneliness that I search, awaiting... awaiting in vain.... awaiting for my green-eyed seductress........
