The Other Side
What's really on the other side,
When you finally cross over?
A paradise where I could hide,
Or drunken chaos with no one sober?
I wish it to be a paradise
Where all lost dreams turn true
Its perfection all precise
A heaven realm for me and you
Or maybe it's just a hell
Spiritual beatings beyond our pain of death
Making human pain feel like small tickles
Every moment feels like your last breath
The worse outcome yet
A world full of nothing
An endless field of only regret
Nothing will ever be loving.
Oh no, I'm transparent to all my loved ones
left to wander aimlessly, so close but so far
This sadness is worse than being locked in dungeons
The cruelest punishment is bizarre
On the other side, that other side
What will there be?
I guess I must abide
Until I get my final chance to see
When you finally cross over?
A paradise where I could hide,
Or drunken chaos with no one sober?
I wish it to be a paradise
Where all lost dreams turn true
Its perfection all precise
A heaven realm for me and you
Or maybe it's just a hell
Spiritual beatings beyond our pain of death
Making human pain feel like small tickles
Every moment feels like your last breath
The worse outcome yet
A world full of nothing
An endless field of only regret
Nothing will ever be loving.
Oh no, I'm transparent to all my loved ones
left to wander aimlessly, so close but so far
This sadness is worse than being locked in dungeons
The cruelest punishment is bizarre
On the other side, that other side
What will there be?
I guess I must abide
Until I get my final chance to see
