My Darkness Within
Running
From darkness
With no escape
I could run faster
But get no further
Just maybe closer
Day by day
Week by week
Month by month
The darkness encloses
More and more
Around my helpless body
Searching
Scratching
Clawing
Screaming
I try to find a way out
But there is no light
My path destroyed
I run once more
To only find
The darkness
Is my own
