my music to the young

Music is something I have always loved
To me classic rock is all above
I’ve heard the new, I’ve heard the old
But some good rock is just like gold
I love the sound of a great guitar
And the beat of the drums can take you so far
Not a big fan of the electric keyboard
But its place in history is by some adored
People harass about what I listen too
Maybe they just need to hear some real blues
I have listened to what the young like to hear
I respect the sound because to me it is clear
That making good music is defiantly an art
Not everyone can do it, it comes from the heart
I know I can’t sing or an instrument can’t play
But when I turn on my music it makes my day
I have one last thing for our young
Listen to the words when the song is sung
You may not always get the writers meaning
But music is more than just a beat you weenies
So if you drive and your bass shakes the land
Just remember I may be old but I’ve seen all the great bands
