Blind Heart Beats
Innocents cascading down into a gentle stream
Heart beats running, not one, not two, not three.
Every heart, beating in synchronized harmony
Every heart, beating a soft tune for me.
Not one single person sees the other
We're all blind, from my best friend, to my mother.
We can't see what the outside beholds
We can feel what happens inside, and cherish the moments we hold.
We're not worrying about how the other sees us
We can't see, even if we could, we wouldn't cause a fuss.
No one is sad
No one is hurt, crying or mad.
We're just a thousand heart beats
Falling down in sheets.
We're each other
We're never scared, never run for cover.
We can't see
We feel the heart beat.
Not a thousand different thumps
Just one, one strong and gentle triumph.
