Simple Love
Love is the way you touch my cheek
After I say I am sorry for coming home late
Love is the way you smile at me
After serving you tea after love at midnight
Love is the way you frown
When I tell you I am under the weather
Love is the way you cradle me
When I am running high with fever
Most of all
Love is the way you work hard
To keep the roof over our head
To pay the mortgage and the bills
To put food on the table
To keep us both clothed and shod
You are love
In all you are
In everything you do
You are love personified.
