Broken Love

We have made mistakes
The word sorry is long past due
Please don't misconstrue
That I don't love you
My heart is broken too.

�Pieces
� Falling
� � Sharp
� � �Cold
� � � Deadly
� � � �
Like a planet out of line
The orbit of our relationship
Deteriorates
Dissipates
Collapsing at the seam

� Where to go?
� �What to do?
� � How to survive?
� � �Why did this happen?
� � � When could it get better?

This pain it hurts
The tune of fear playing
Everyday
Never ending
This seems to only get worse

� �Move on
� � We must go
� � �Lets save ourselves
� � � Leave the fire
� � � �These bombs might blow

I love you so
I leave for this reason
Lessons be learned
and for fate be told
further adventures we will glow

� Travel to the stars
� �Don't look back
� � Memories in clear water
� � �Reflections of the past
� � � Fade into ripples of time.

Lessons be learned .....I'm hip on the whole poem except this one line...If you are destroying the relationship for a lesson...then it is important enough to state it here...This is where the reader gets to learn what you know, and you become wiser for it...The cost is clear,; it's what you bought that is not...spill the beans, next time. Good stuff though....hard stuff.
