I saw you in my dreams.
Happy as can be.
Smiling ear to ear.
Shedding joyful tears.

We we talking.
Hugging and laughing.
We were joking.
Even talked about crafting.

Every thing started to blur.
When I realized this wasn't real.
My heart started to hurt.
As I saw this was all a lie.

Your house started to burn.
As I began to wake.
Maybe I'll soon learn.
What's real and what's fake.

Your image disappearing.
My smile slowly fading.
My brain started clearing.
My heart was betrayed.
By a deceiving dream.
