Lock Box
The deeper you fall,
the harder you fall,
I have learned that over time
so I have started locking my heart up
in a metal box
lined with red velvet
as to protect it from harm.
But secretly I long for someone to steal that box,
with hopes that they do not shake it to see what's inside
for that may surely kill me.
