yeah, i agree with GiGi, it was a bit of a challenge and i'd be lying if i said that i didn't pull up wikipedia for a few pieces, but once i got the basics down, i was all the more impressed.

this reminded me of martial arts! like aglitch said, i also needed to look up a thing or two, haha, but wow:

spiraling serpentine excitement
up from belly to bellow throat" - i love that feeling so much, and definitely get it when the music hits and i'm up to use it.

i read it earlier but didn't have the right mindset to go in all the way... now that i have, the reward is awesome. you have such command of concept... wonderful stuff. [:

With kabuki grace
jerked into bezerker rage
I will carve this sacred space

Warrior-Jesters open doors.

Translating the polyrhythmic wind
into complex geometry
calling forth Djinn from each direction
with the ecstatic elasticity of my limbs

Physical geometry in dance breaks down the mechanics to take a chance, human creation is in energy becoming mass. Djinns like engrams, inner demons get born from what's poured out.

First, the heel of foot
lifting preemptive to earthquake vibration
then, poltergeist current surging up legging
to root chakra,
opting on rock steady

Wake up Earth 'til she reaches back up into your blood, warming her ch'i.

Ready,
then aim fire
spiraling serpentine excitement
up from belly to bellow throat
splitting dually to reached out hands in feeling frenzy.

Kundalini heat unwinds like the serpent climbing the rainbow. Splitting dually I like because it finally takes the poem away from ... drawing in from the whole extra plethora of created deities from the stable left for ya' to discover and relove BUT back to a dual-winding, yin and yang dividing, personal balanced place. Not that global unity of thought-stream isn't important. I kind of saw that in poltergeist energy coming up like molten meridien landmines in the root chakra dance. But the running complete to a balanced place, that feels more synergistic and redeems the feeling I had all the way up to this verse which was climbing the powervines like Crowley. I was confused because it didn't feel like your work's view was along those lines, so for it to run complete was a true conclusion.

Finding fluidity
in the rolled waves of electrified air
the dancer, now with mushroom cloud crown,
escapes outside himself
and unto the expanding edge of the universe
becoming creation


Aaaaand returning to Newton's first law... even upon death we still matter because our matter becomes energy, becomes creation again. Completion is spherical, to continue instead of stopping.

I admire any kaleidoscopic piece because the world is full of past sages, masters on stage and crafters of pages, but to find the RELEVANCE and then the turn of phrase to take each piece and work it into something that wasn't already done? Comrade, that's mud-to-bricks like Jews under Egyptian whips, creation of Pyramids a statement of Masons, let's be clear on this, you built up the bricks from visions OTHERS made the decisions to seperate. Better to let it ALL relate. I get it. Fuck indecision. Fuck religion. Fuck all that from the start. Fuck art. Take a chance to just dance! Good work, amigo, I dig this one!
