In the pines
Everything moves too quickly...
So much so, that I regret starting
even this.
We can all take one blow,
and struggle with two,
but what about when
we face the rule of three...
Then we simply must.
There is no music playing,
only the passing cars
and the hum of the computer
as a back drop.
The ball was rolling nicely,
but there is now
more than one foot upon it.
One is restricted
from doing so little as scream,
but so much more
needs to be released.
I was going to avoid
the all too popular 'I'
in this one,
but I am a violent torrent
hiding inside
an analytical shrug'n'smile,
that every one else
is so happy to see.
So much so, that I regret starting
even this.
We can all take one blow,
and struggle with two,
but what about when
we face the rule of three...
Then we simply must.
There is no music playing,
