Goodbye

Smiling that sad smile,
Tears began to fill up her eyes,
Kneeling on the ground, hands folded tightly,
She looks up at the sky, her eyes filled with hope.
Wish upon a shooting star,
That everything will be alright.
The bottle of pills now empty,
The vodka now all gone.
She takes the razor to her wrist,
And lets her skin just be kissed.
Paint them red with your lips,
As her sanity starts to slip.
She closes her eyes,
And tears stream down her cheeks.
The blade goes deep,
And the blood drips free.
She smiles that sweet smile,
And whispers a sad melody to herself,
“Never ending tears,
I cry inside my heart.
Hoping no one will hear,
That I am falling apart.
Cross your heart…
And hope to die…”
The last thing she saw,
Before her life went black,
Were the people pointing and laughing.
And the last words she heard,
Before her life slipped away,
Were the harsh words people said to her.
And the last thing she felt,
Before she went completely numb,
Was the sweet bliss of no more worries in the world.
