A Blossomed Flower

A solitary crimson flower grows among the weeds in a secluded meadow.
Its vivid, intense color standing out amid the surrounding grassland…
Exceptional beauty can lie in the most remarkable places, though.
And I can assure you this blossoming flower is not bland.

Its uniqueness cannot be compared to another,
For it is rare in this world of consistency.
It may deceive you by looking as gentle and soft as a whisper,
But deep within itself, it is solid, strong and far from dainty.

Although to the common eye, it may seem to be reliant and dependent,
It is quite a contrast.
Through the years, it has learned to remain patient.
Times of effortless irritation and impulsiveness have passed.

It has the knowledge to live in this haphazard world of judgment.
Awareness, understanding, and comprehension have seeped in through the flower’s roots.
The gain of knowledge giving the flower a sweet-smelling scent.
Ignorance, insensitivity, and anger no longer pollute.

All flowers need assistance and have fundamental needs,
But none that require dependence…
Determination keeps it steady as it proceeds.
Not entirely alone, but willing to live on its own with a healthy balance.

For it is now a blossomed flower.
One who has learned many things…
One who is prepared for the life ahead, but cautious about the danger…
A blossomed flower who is ready to take on the upcoming mornings.
