Soul Time
(collab of Geoffrey and Prophet)
The time has come, You must see
The foreseen memory bids
what one day you will be,
and the record of the past
shall forever make an imprint
upon the eternal present,
forever shaping & shining,
on into the future and
spilling forth from past
spells as the sands of Infinity;
Time moves like a river,
and you will see,
as it slips on by,
what your life may be,
but surprises come at every turn
For inspiration comes
from the destructive,
creative regeneration
feeding from that which
purifying burns;
the eternal flame
gives life unto the
seeds of change,
and renews the
spirit of the land
Changed by chance, the dance
of life, breath, dreamt
in fancy flights
of passion, entranced
But what has it meant?
Was it all for naught?
Life comes from meaning
and connection in the
eternal Now, creating
memories of moments
That last forever;
but these change too.
And you travel a path
beginning and ending
within
you
The time has come, You must see
