Fade to Black
The world is slowly falling to disarray,
My heart, too, has consumed the fruit of CHAOS.
Perhaps I am dirtied, evil, and wrong. Impure to my
CORE. But I love and feel, but perhaps if I
change my colors, I too can become the pure shade of
white. If I run for you with outstretched HANDS
will the world fade away into your embrace? If this is
wrong, please allow love to taint me the darkest of
impure BLACK. To live without is just something
I cannot do, so don't ask for such selfish requests.
Take a bite of the rotted fruit, I'm a bad APPLE.
If I continue to believe the lie, believe the lie,
will I too eventually fade into the nothingness of the sun?
If love is impure and wrong, then allow it to taint me
BLACK.
