the way it burns

I pace thru shadows like a caged animal
breath ragged with unspoken violence
kickin the poolside chairs with each pass
each collision a temporary relief
to what rages thru me

the monster tears at my insides
chained behind locked doors
growin stronger with each curse
that slips thru gritted teeth
threatenin to consume what remains of control

she comes to me
eyes studyin the war on my face
and the tremors in my hands
the monster visible under my paper thin mask

her hands find my chest
meetin my chaos where it lives
silently offerin refuge
then steppin back in open invitation

thumbs hooked into cotton edges
slidin the fabric down her thighs
in a deliberate offerin
her body an altar for my anger

her stare unwaverin
her voice steady
“show me” she breathes
“show me what it feels like”
not a challenge but permission

I reach for her with hands
that are no longer my own
fingers tangled in her hair
my mouth crushin hers with brutal need
liftin her onto the poolside table m

the monster breaks free
as I bury my fury into the heat of her body
her gasps fadin into the demand of my mouth
my grip bruisin soft curves with desperate hands

her body arched in response
receivin each violent thrust
her nails diggin into my back
matchin rage with passion
as I drove myself into her again and again

the monster surgin thru me
into her willin body
til my rage transforms
into somethin equally savage
finally momentarily tamed
