Have you ever thought of time
As being a line
Crossing dimensions
In our minds...
A push and pull
At first, a feeling
A feeling
Unfamiliar
Yet familiar at the same time?
Separate lines parallel
Glide closer
Ever closer
To the one
Drawing nearer
To the time that divides
Night from day
Hunter from prey
Joy from dismay
Cut a line in the sand
And take my hand
For I will stop you
Drowning -
Losing time
