That sly stone look on my face
is the armor brick in my heart
no pebble filter of what brings
Listen close to comprehend
not just vibration of a baritone
past-explosive BEAST king
That’s knowledge slow boiling
stirred volcanic to epiphany
elusive c/o/n/-fused delay to react
Core touch on low pitch growl
crawled to docile hairs in ovation
erect on nape back
Chip off the block sculpted mane
knotty dread prickly pine
quills defend to enforce points
Pride rock antisocial distanced
stature perch high above life
jaws enthrall disjoint
Incredibly loud vocal
throated tones resound
miles across open sky plains
Fixated confessionals track
decibels roaring out
locomotive thought train
Blindfold conversing
to spirit animal myths
shadows surround pack full
Paul Bunyan axe hovered
