He Was and Then Wasn't
He brought me flowers
walked with me through October rain
held me in warm bathroom showers
comforted me through my pain
Days turned into years
as time's wheels spun around
then he found a younger beauty
leaving my heart on the ground
In a whirlwind of passion
his love and desire ran wild
he vanished without a word
leaving behind a heart once beguiled
Plans unfurled in silence
a love lost in the night
he was here, and then he wasn't
a fleeting star, dimmed from sight
thus, here I am never trusting
never believing in anyone’s loving
unless its from me to another
I can never be sure

I think this is a testament of spiritual evolution. When you are content within yourself and trust your intuition, you've reached a higher plateau of being.

:) Thank you for commenting Ahavati. That's an indepth look at it. I just got fed-up with the whole scenario...I am not looking at or for such shtuffs anymore. So many tries and so many disappointments. I am happy as I am. :)

I can honestly say I've been there, on both sides. I had to work on forgiving myself and asking for forgiveness. The consequences followed me and I have to say that I've had to work on it for a long time. Like Ahavati said, it's an spiritual evolution, a journey in and of itself.
