Crystal Winter Sky
The day moves so slowly
Frozen in it's breath
Sun goes down so lonely
In the distant frosty west
Cold, malevolent winds are blowing
All hope has gone away
While fading life is flowing
Into a wintry, snowy haze
Icicles frozen in time
A snow angel spreads her wings to fly
Church bells and gongs chime
Hands reach out into a crystal winter sky

I usually make snow demons in the snow but I'll work with the snow angels with you & this piece. Thank you Duende for the RL.
In spite of it all .. the pitch darkness n the murderous frozenness in all it’s greys .. yes yes there you go do beautifully in your last 3 liners.. the shining pure hope .. finely captured the nature in it’s essence of Hope light & love .. finely written & best for comp dear Keith :) xx
