A Sailor's Odyssey of Truths

Between the rocks of Scylla and Charybdes,
so voracious, so attractive, so hungry,
my heart sailed on a stormy sea.
Seeking the Mermaid, beauty in tenacious tone,
who lived on an island among the fearful abyss.

Maritime convulsions, disastrous results.
Scylla devoured the wanderers with her mouths.
Charybdes, the whirlwind, swallowed up the unfortunate.
In the cruel seas, the fearful sailed.

The islands were a mystery with a veil of illusion,
with shady palm trees and ivory beaches.
There my heart suffered, in solitude,
yearning for the Mermaid in endless desire.

He crossed waves, faced the winds.
In the treacherous waters my love guided me.
Each step led towards its enchantments,
An eternal romance that destiny would seal.

And so, among monsters and endless seas,
my heart followed, beating for her...
To the distant islands where love is endless
and the Mermaid of dreams love forever.
Between the rocks of Scylla and Charybdes.
