After She hired a professional landscaper
to come in and make Her fairgrounds hospitable
He still denied Her a face-to-face meeting
with the bearded lady
Only to then have the nerve to request
She play with His super-soaker
upon demand😑

There used to be a bearded lady that wandered about the town where I grew up.
She was a devout christian. When asked why she didn't remove the beard she replyed with pride "God said I shall have a beard."
I respected her.
This poem conjured up memories.
