She is, black history

She is my gift from the heavens, my antidote from being cursed, she is my smile that stop the tears, she is the perfect lines I’ve rehearsed, she is the black, to the power, she is the second, the minute, the hour. She is the one my creator assigned, she is the sight  after the blind. She is my wife, she is, black history.

They are our six children, they are the daughters and son, of a king and queen, they are not our past, they are not our mistakes, they are not our slaves, they are not our mess ups, they are not our memories, they are not our failures, they are not our bad habits, they are not our flaws, they are not our wrongs, they are our children, they are the future, they are, black history.

I am the guardian of my family’s heart, I am the alpha lion of the pride, I am descendant of the most high, I am the chief of this black tribe, I am her husband, I am they’re father, I am black history.

I am George Floyd , I can not breath, I am Martin Luther King Jr, 1963, March on Washington, where he delivered his speech "I Have a Dream, I am the Underground Railroad, I am the slaves before they were freed, I am the blacks who were slaughtered, I am Travon Martin. We are black history.
